All times favourite in Tokyo: Yoyogi Park Flea Market (Shibuya Koendori Fes)

Yoyogi Flea Market is the hippest flea market in all of Tokyo. This well known, big, always-crowded monthly-held fleamarket was first held in 1981 called ‘free market’, became a beginning of fleamarket in Japan. Because of the low cost to vendors (under USD$40) and close proximity to the fashionable streets of both Harajuku and Shibuya, the market’s shopping and selling base leans younger than other Tokyo flea markets. All sorts of fashion items, clothing and accessories for young people & Hipsters can be found there (casual wear, sneakers, fashion bags, popular famous brand items, but also leather jackets, purses, vintage concert tees, sequined dresses, etc). However clothes aren’t all that’s on offer: there are plenty of cute stuffed animals, vintage vinyl records, lunch boxes, a wide variety of trinkets and other “random” things.
